Lloyd Kakepetum is a Keewaywin first nation band member who was born on the Sandy lake reserve in the far reaches of northern Ontario near the Manitoba border. Lloyd lived for a time in Couchiching at the east end of Sandy Lake, before he moved to Keewaywin Ontario where he now resides and paints.
