Excellent condition, well framed.
Papialuk was one of the earliest Inuit print makers. He was a key contributor to the Povungnituk print catalogues from the 1960's to the 1980's. He is also one of the very few Inuit artists who have had a solo show at the National Gallery.
Provenance: Originally purchased by a local doctor al the Guild Shop in Toronto in 1985, together with a similar piece. Papialuk was present at the show. Name and address of purchaser is written lightly but legibly on back.
